ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — A three-car crash in Rochester left several people injured Thursday evening, according to the Rochester Police Department.
Officers responded to the intersection of East Avenue and Culver Road for a report of a crash with people trapped. Investigators said a 54-year-old man driving an SUV ran a red light on Culver Road, causing a collision with another vehicle.
That vehicle continued on and struck a third car that was waiting at the intersection, police said.
The driver of the second vehicle, a 55-year-old woman, was taken to Highland Hospital after complaining of pain. Others involved were either treated at the scene for minor injuries or were not injured.
The 54-year-old SUV driver was issued a citation.
