ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) - On White Way in East Point a burger joint failed to make the grade on its last routine inspection.
BGR Grille in Fulton County scored 47 points and a “U” for unsatisfactory on Sept. 2. The report says multiple coolers were not working properly, chicken, beef and turkey were at unsafe temperatures and there were live flies in the kitchen due to an open front door.
“We were moving equipment in,” BGR Grille Manager James Jones said.
The manager told Atlanta News First that they just changed ownership and were getting rid of old coolers in the restaurant when the health inspector walked in.
“When she came, we had to take the door off the hinges, and we couldn’t close it,” Jones said.
