HUNTINGTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) – On the 24th anniversary of the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks, Huntington High School students, staff, first responders, military and community members all marched on Thursday to remember, to honor and to commemorate one of the darkest days in American history.
It was an idea that students in the school’s ROTC program said was a long time coming – making sure the 9/11 victims are never forgotten.
Organizers hope it becomes an annual event where the Huntington High community is joined by thousands of people from the entire community.
