FOXBOROUGH – With Terrell Williams stepping away due to “ unforeseen” circumstances ," the Patriots will need someone to step up in his defensive coordinator role this weekend.

As it turns out, we’ll find out tomorrow.

On Thursday, Patriots inside linebackers coach Zak Kuhr spoke to the local media. When Williams was out this offseason due to a medical scare, Kuhr stepped into his role as the de facto defensive coordinator during spring practices.

When asked if he’ll fill the role as play-caller when the Patriots take on the Miami Dolphins on Sunday, Kuhr said that the answer will be revealed soon.

“(Mike Vrabel)’s going to let you guys know Friday,” Kuhr said.
