WELCH, WV (WVNS) - S.A.F.E. Incorporated is a major powerhouse when it comes to supporting victims of domestic violence.

The organization staff has seen their fair share of cases on domestic violence, stalking, human trafficking and Elder Abuse to name a few.

Just this past weekend, a Gauley Bridge man was arrested for domestic violence, on top of many other charges.

The victim reported being strangled, struck, thrown around, and threatened with both a loaded firearm and a knife.

Advocate Coordinator, Patricia Daniels of S.A.F.E Inc., says victims can become abusers.
