The Minnesota Vikings placed standout linebacker Blake Cashman on injured reserve on Thursday due to a hamstring injury.

Running back/returner Ty Chandler (knee) also was placed on IR. Cashman and Chandler each will miss at least four games.

Cashman had three tackles before exiting Monday night's 27-24 victory over the Chicago Bears.
