President Donald Trump declared on Thursday that the media “ought to be ashamed of themselves” upon being asked what he thought about “the media that justify the murder of Charlie Kirk .”

Asked, “What do you think about the media that justify the murder of Charlie Kirk?” the president replied, “I think it’s terrible. They ought to be ashamed of themselves. It’s terrible.”

After another reporter questioned, “Why haven’t they found the shooter yet, Mr. President? Are you concerned that it’s been 24 hours?” Trump responded, “Well, I hear they’re making big progress, and we’ll have to see what happens.”
