COLUMBIA, S.C. — Two men from the Columbia area have been sentenced to years in federal prison for coordinating the distribution of several pounds of drugs shipped from Arizona to South Carolina and other states.
The U.S. Attorney's Office for South Carolina said that 54-year-old Drain Maurice Mazone of Irmo was sentenced to 13 years in federal prison, and 42-year-old Clinton Raymond Donaldson of Columbia was sentenced to three years.
Prosecutors said the two conspired to possess and distribute more than five pounds of cocaine, about .9 pounds of fentanyl and unspecified quantities of marijuana and crack cocaine.
Authorities said the drugs originated in Arizona and were shipped to South Carolina, where they were sent through the mail to addresses in Columbia, Florence, Myrtle Beach and
