SHERWOOD, Ark. - Taking a bow at 100 years old, Robert Harbour wants everyone to know: this isn’t his curtain call.

Harbour said the reason he enlisted in the Army was because of a disagreement with an ex-girlfriend.

“She said, ‘You’re not man enough to join the Army.’ The next day, I joined the Army. They transferred me to Fort Sam Houston, and that’s where I met my wife,” Harbour said.

Harbour went on to serve his country with distinction, earning the respect and admiration of his family, including his nephew, Michael Driggers.

“He fought valiantly in several conflicts — Korea up to Vietnam,” said Driggers, “And he was awarded the Bronze Star from the President of the United States.”

So, what’s the secret to living a century? For Harbour, the answer is simple: keep dancing.
