A local fitness leader is inviting residents to adopt a healthier lifestyle as part of a Health and Wellness Fair set for Saturday, Sept. 27, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. outside Custom Workouts, 2125 S. Broadway, Suite 108.

The free event will be hosted in the front parking lot of the gym, and is designed to provide physical, emotional and nutritional wellness resources in a fun, community-focused environment.

The fair will include free kid haircuts, a kids fitness competition, group fitness classes, a hay bale throwing contest and live music from a DJ.

Marc Gatson, owner of Custom Workouts and the creator of the fair, said the event was born from a long-standing desire to connect people with vital health resources.
