The Chattanooga Division of Transportation is preparing for the first annual IBMA World of Bluegrass Awards and Festival, set for September 16–20 in downtown Chattanooga.

To accommodate setup, concerts, and tear-down, a series of phased road closures and traffic restrictions will run from Tuesday, September 16, through Monday, September 22. Streets impacted include portions of Georgia Avenue, Market Street, Patten Parkway, Cherry Street, East 10th Street, and East MLK Boulevard . Some phases will extend closures to Broad Street.
