While this may not be the year for newcomers at the Emmy Awards, there is a high possibility that many people who have been nominated previously for an Emmy and lost will finally get their recognition.

New shows like “The Pitt” and “The Studio” have veteran actors who have never won an Emmy before. There are also actors from fan favorite shows like “The White Lotus,” “Hacks” and “Severance” who have never won before.

Here is who could win their first Emmy on Sunday:

Noah Wyle

After over 20 years and six nominations, Noah Wyle could finally take home his first Emmy award for Best Actor in a Drama.

Wyle has been nominated at the Emmys five previous times for his role as Dr. John Carter on “ER” in the 1990s and early 2000s. However, he never won an award despite his several nominations.
