Emergency crews responded to Carter Lake on a report of a overturned kayak on Thursday evening.

Initial reports were that one man had drowned and crews were searching for the victim.

The Larimer County Sheriff’s Office and Loveland Fire Rescue Authority were assisting Berthoud Fire Protection District.
