As Eastside High School football coach Mike Rhodes poured over video footage of this week’s opponent – Rural Retreat – he noticed that the dynamic quarterback wearing No. 2 for the Indians was a gritty son of a gun.
“Just a hard-nosed kid,” Rhodes said. “Plays like he is 225 pounds and is capable of scoring anytime he touches the ball. He could play for anybody in the region.”
The dude's name is Chaz Penwright and nobody should ever doubt the toughness or tenacity of this 5-foot-8, 144-pound senior.
