Gov. Kathy Hochul is facing a primary challenge in next year’s governor’s race from her own lieutenant governor, Antonio Delgado.
“The status quo is broken,” Delgado said during an interview on “Inside City Hall” Thursday. “I think there’s three main issues that we need to center ourselves around: housing, health care and wages.”
Recently, Delgado has been calling out Hochul over two major pipeline proposals in New York.
“What we’re talking about is a governor who made a deal with someone in the White House that will put New Yorkers directly in harm’s way. That is unacceptable. Full stop,” Delgado said.
