OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) - An upcoming conference is giving anyone in the Omaha metro the chance to learn more about their brain health and how to better support those living with dementia.

The Alzheimer’s Foundation of America is bringing its Educating America Tour to Omaha on Wednesday, September 17. From 10:00 am to 1:00 pm, anyone is welcome to come to Bellevue University’s Hitchcock Humanities Building to listen to local experts speak or receive a free memory screening.

“We’re encouraging the public, please come down. Early diagnosis is key to having a higher quality of life,” said Dr. Anna Fisher, who will speak at the conference.

The conference will also showcase new tools for early diagnosis and help caretakers find support.
