KENNEWICK, Wash. – A fire broke out in a travel trailer used as a residence Thursday afternoon on West Bonnie Avenue. Fire crews responded to the scene around 2:21 p.m., the Kennewick Fire Department (KFD) reported.
Upon arrival, firefighters observed smoke coming from the open front door of the trailer. Bystanders had already used fire extinguishers to put out the active flames.
KFD units, along with Benton County Fire District #1 and Richland Fire and Emergency Services, ensured the fire was completely extinguished and searched the trailer to confirm no one was inside.
The fire was controlled within eight minutes of the firefighters’ arrival. One occupant suffered minor injuries and was taken to a local hospital by KFD paramedics, and the trailer sustained moderate damage and may not
