The students at the Bluffton School received a little financial assistance for their much-needed and appreciated breakfast program on Sept. 10th.

Each year, the school struggles to find the funds to continue to support this program as funds always fall a little short of what is needed. There is nothing harder than trying to learn on an empty stomach, especially for a child.

The breakfast programs offer nourishment to each and every student throughout the school year.

Costs for this program have been rising, as have all grocery prices. The Blindman Valley Lions learned that it now costs about $200 a week to provide this program in Bluffton.
