Perth Wildcats have signed NBA G-League Finals MVP Mason Jones as then final piece of their puzzle for the upcoming season, with the import set to bring his NBA experience to the club.

Jones, 27, will join forces with Kristian Doolittle and Dylan Windler as imports for the upcoming season after five-time NBL MVP Bryce Cotton moved to Adelaide 36ers.

The American played more than 50 NBA games for the LA Lakers, Sacramento Kings, Philadelphia 76ers and Houston Rockets before leading Stockton Kings to the G-League title.

He averaged 23.6 points, 7.8 assists and five rebounds per game throughout that season. Jones’ play off performances were outstanding including 47 points and 10 assists against Valley Suns, plus 13 assists as the Kings claimed the title.
