TYLER, Texas — A shocking tragedy unfolded at Utah Valley University on Wednesday when conservative activist Charlie Kirk was shot and killed during a campus speaking event.
The 31-year-old Turning Point USA founder was reportedly targeted by a sniper while addressing thousands of attendees, sending shockwaves through the political and academic communities nationwide.
Students at Tyler Junior College, home to a Turning Point USA chapter, are remembering Kirk’s influence and reflecting on the need for unity in the wake of his death.
