A new application wants to 'bring to life' the stories of one of Nottinghamshire's most famous writers and the places that inspired them. DH Lawrence has gone down in history as one of the 20th century's most iconic writers, with his novels Lady Chatterley's Lover and Women in Love continuing to reach new audiences today .
His birthplace of Eastwood - which inspired many of the author's stories and characters - continues to remember his legacy today with the D.H Lawrence Birthplace Museum among the tourist attractions in his name .
But as we approach the 140th anniversary of the author's birth, campaigners in the Nottinghamshire town say his legacy needs to be passe
