Princess Catherine has sent a very pointed "message" to Prince Harry and Meghan Markle after the Duke of Sussex finally met with King Charles this week.

The Princess of Wales, 43, stepped out at the Sudbury Silk Mills on Thursday wearing a £845 Earl jacket, and matching £525 Schoolboy trousers in a classic Prince of Wales check by British designer Bella Freud.

Kate looked every part the future Queen in the ensemble which she paired with black Boden sweater and gold diamond hoop earrings.

Her decision to wear Glen plaid, also known as Prince of Wales check, was seen as a clear nod of support towards England's heir to the throne, after Prince Harry reunited with their father on Wednesday following 18 months apart.
