MACON, Ga. — Sandy Colbert says her older sister, Teasha Colbert , was energetic, and the "life of the party."
"She loved to have fun, you know, we was in a down mood sometimes I would just call her and say, 'Tell me something funny,'" Colbert said.
She also says her sister was family-oriented, and a doting aunt to Sandy's teenage daughter.
"You were sick, she took everybody to their doctor's appointments, you know, she would stay with you if you need it, so she was a critical part of our family," Colbert said.
Colbert says she went to her sister Teasha's apartment at the Sanford Arms complex in East Macon after friends told her Teasha was missing.
That's when she noticed Teasha's car in the parking lot, with her purse and water bottle inside.
