Following the Green Bay Packers’ win over the Washington Commanders, Packers head coach Matt LaFleur told the press that slot receiver Jayden Reed broke his collarbone and “is going to miss a lot of time.” LaFleur said that there’s an expectation that Reed will return to the field this season, but I’d suggest that Packers fans assume that Reed is going to be out for six to eight weeks.
Without Reed, Green Bay will lean on Romeo Doubs, Matthew Golden and Dontayvion Wicks to help make up for the lost snaps. Other options also include Malik Heath and Savion Williams, who contributed more in Week 2 offensively than in Week 1, likely due to Reed’s injury.
