Temperatures today once again rose into the low 80s in a continued seasonal pattern, something you can expect more of over the next week. Dry air has kept us comfortable, and as we head into the overnight the lack of moisture will lead to lows around 60. More cool starts and warm daytimes!

The pattern is stagnant, meaning more of the same weather is likely to persist through the rest of the month, or at least until we see any evidence of a change. This is quite common this time of year, but the lack of tropical waves is not. We are now at the climatological peak of tropical activity, and the waters of the Atlantic remain unusually calm.
