Bellevue's sewer plant repair project is still set to be complete by November despite a series of delays.

The $9.5 million wastewater system was built in 2007 and broke down in March 2023. Since then the city has been operating on an older lagoon facility that has caused noxious odors.

In July, city crews were scheduled to complete a series of tasks in anticipation of a Nov. 1 completion date for restoration of the facility.

About half the tasks needed to complete restoration of the facility were incomplete as of Monday, including some that were stalled due to equipment delivery delays and delays in completion of electrical and supervisory control and data acquisition, or SCADA, installations.
