The Blaine County Housing Authority has sent an official letter to the board of The Residences at Evergreen homeowners association requesting amendments to an earlier development agreement in an effort to reduce HOA costs for two deed-restricted units BCHA manages in the condo building.

Owners of the two units have sought BCHA help in addressing steep special assessment costs and HOA fees they say threaten to price them out of their deed-restricted homes, the Express previously reported .

In a BCHA board meeting, Carissa Connelly, housing director for the BCHA, said that the two residents of the Evergreen units in question have not been transparent in disclosing financial records, a condition of BCHA financial support, the Express previously reported.
