I have the world’s worst friend picker. Once, my “best friend” sat me at a different table from the rest of the wedding party at her rehearsal dinner. After she got married, I never heard from her again. Another “best friend” blew me off, telling me she was “on her way” to a family event while she was actually just hanging out at a guy’s apartment. Then she was upset that I was upset. Another moved out while I wasn’t home and had her mom call my mom to tell me (whaaaatt). I must be the problem, right?
