Australia — like the rest of the world — is obsessed with the Netflix film KPop Demon Hunters and its catchy, pop songs going viral since its release in June.

With the movie recently announced as Netflix’s most-watched ever, the craze surrounding K-pop shows no signs of slowing down, and Aussies are among those most obsessed.

New Spotify data has revealed that, surprisingly, older millennials (35-44) are the ones driving the KPop Demon Hunters craze, pushing Australia into the global top 10 countries streaming the soundtrack and sparking a 54 per cent nationwide surge in K-pop streams in just three months.

The data showed people aged 35-44 were listening to hit songs like Golden and Soda Pop the most (35 per cent), while those aged 25- 34 were also dominating listening hours at 31 per c
