A Waterloo woman will serve concurrent eight month prison sentences for buying guns for drug users and for securing a small business loan during the pandemic despite no business existing, according to the Waterloo Cedar Falls Courier. 24 year old Erion Gafeney visited a Cedar Falls gun store with Daquavion Walker, DeMaurion Ambrose and another person. After looking around for awhile the other three left the store and Gafeney purchased two handguns. Security cameras then show her then hand the guns to the three men and then get in a separate vehicle and drive away. Police say Gafeney knew the men were marijuana users when she handed over the gun.
