While the American side is prepping for the Ryder Cup at the Procore Championship, Bryson DeChambeau is left alone to make his own preparations. But with this self-introspection, Bryson has discovered a major weakness that might add to his stakes at Bethpage.
He recently played at the Tour 18 golf course as part of his “Can I Break the Course Record on Golf’s Most Famous Holes?” YouTube video series. On the ninth hole, after missing the 28-foot putt for a birdie, the golfer blurted out in frustration, “All right. That’s frustrating. Again, this is wedges, man. Got to dial in those wedges somehow. Got to get like a motion that doesn’t create like a massive gapping in my wedges for some reason. I don’t know why that happens. It’s so crazy. It’s good one day and then horrible the next.”
