OREM, Utah (CNN) - The FBI and Utah police are asking for the public’s help to identify the shooter who killed conservative activist Charlie Kirk.
Officials released video on Thursday night that shows the suspect.
The suspect can be seen dropping from the roof of a building after the shooting at Utah Valley University.
Then, the FBI said the shooter ran across a grass space by a parking lot and into a nearby wooded area where a gun was found.
The suspect left palm smudges on the building that may contain DNA, according to investigators.
Officials also say footprints show the suspect was wearing Converse tennis shoes.
The suspect wearing a distinctive black shirt with an American flag and what appears to be an eagle. The individual also wore a baseball cap with a triangle on it.
