A 25-year-old Ohio man will spend the rest of his days in prison for the murdering his ex-girlfriend and her 3-year-old son after tossing both of them off a bridge.

Desean Brown pleaded guilty to two counts of murder and was sentenced Wednesday to life behind bars without the possibility of parole for the deaths of 29-year-old Nyteisha Lattimore and her son, Nylo Lattimore. As part of the plea deal, prosecutors took the death penalty off the table, the Hamilton County Prosecutor's Office said in a press release .
