THE world's new highest bridge was put through extreme strength trials ahead of its grand opening.

Dozens of trucks were roped in to put the colossal structure through stress tests to ensure it was ready for traffic.

Found in southern China 's mountainous Guizhou region, the Huajiang Canyon Bridge stands a vast nine times higher than the Golden Gate Bridge.
