SPRINGFIELD, Mo. (KY3) - The Springfield Planning and Zoning Commission recommended against the latest push to develop the northwest corner of National and Sunshine Street. The commission sent the University Heights development plans to the Springfield City Council, which will have the final say later this month.
The developer resubmitted plans in August to build office spaces at the location. His new plans include about eight or ten uses, down from the original 25 to 30 uses. He describes them as low-intensive structures.
