Coun. Wilson Lo is motioning to add diesel buses back to OC Transpo's fleet, following fresh e-bus delays.

The next 80 electric buses scheduled to hit Ottawa's streets are delayed by two months until March, the agency said during an update on the roll-out of its new zero-emission fleet at the city's transit committee meeting on Thursday.

"We don't foresee any significant impacts to our service delivery, but we need to make sure we're cautious and we're managing it and push as hard as we can to get those buses in service as soon as possible," said Troy Charter, OC Transpo's interim general manager.
