State Sen. Jeremy Moss, D-Southfield, said that a bomb threat was made against him Sept. 11, making him the second prominent Michigan Democratic politician to report a bomb threat targeting the place where he lives on Sept. 11 after Lt. Gov. Garlin Gilchrist II said a threat was made on his home.

"Yesterday, I received a detailed and specific message threatening me at my home with a bomb," Moss said in a statement released Friday, Sept. 12. Moss expressed gratitude for local and Michigan State Police who responded. Moss is currently running for an Oakland County-based seat in the U.S. House of Representatives .
