NEWARK, DE (WFSB) - The University of Connecticut football team continues its road trip on Saturday.

The Huskies take on the Delaware Blue Hens at Delaware Stadium in Newark, DE.

Kickoff was slated for 3 p.m.

The game was set to be the first matchup between the schools as FBS members.

The Huskies last faced the Blue Hens in 1998 when both schools were on the FCS level. They’ve played 27 times. Ahead of Saturday’s game, Delaware held the edge with 20 wins.

UConn looked to bounce back from a 27-20 loss at Syracuse last weekend.

The Huskies held a 17-6 lead in the fourth quarter but drives of 90 and 80 yards by Syracuse gave the Orange a 20-17 lead with 0:48 seconds left in the game.
