BATON ROUGE, La. (Louisiana First) -- Frank H. Kean, a respected business leader and president of Kean’s the Cleaners, died Friday morning at 87.
According to his obituary, Kean continued the family legacy as the third generation to lead Kean’s the Cleaners. The business has served the Baton Rouge community since 1900. The company began as a “collar” cleaning service and grew to provide full dry-cleaning services for more than a century.
He and his sister, Mabyn, helped support community causes. They worked for many years to provide warm coats for kids in need.
Details on funeral arrangements were not immediately available.
