A felony drunk driving arrest in western New York last week has led the Buffalo Sabres to place their Director of Player Development, Adam Mair, on administrative leave.
Mair, 46, was charged on Thursday, Sept. 4 with three felonies and six misdemeanors after being involved in a crash at the intersection of Clover Street and Tobey Road in Pittsford, New York, around 4:30 p.m., according to the Monroe County Sheriff's Office.
The felony DWI charges stem from the fact that three children were in the vehicle at the time of the crash, which triggers Leandra’s Law, said sheriff's spokesperson Deputy David Marcucci.
