COOK COUNTY, Minn. (Northern News Now) - Cook County residents who have utilized the Public Health and Human Services may have had their private information exposed.

According to the county, affected residents will receive a letter in the mail. If you do not receive a letter, you are not impacted and no action is needed.

Cook County did not share when the data breach occurred.
