MONTPELIER, Vt. (ABC22/FOX44) - Members of the public will have two opportunities next week to comment on the Vermont Agency of Transportation's Rescission Plan.
This comment follows the an Emergency Board meeting back in July, where an updated FY2026 revenue forecast showed that there was $7.5M less than the forecast used to construct the initial, adopted budget. VTrans submitted a new plan to "realign appropriations with the reduction in Transportation Fund revenue."
The first one will occur on Wednesday, September 17 at the Joint Transportation Oversight Committee meeting, which will occur from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Public comment at this meeting, located in Room 10 at the State House, will likely begin at 4:20 p.m.
