Assault, Lake Road

On Aug. 21 an assault behind the Westlake Condos was reported.

The victim was an 18-year-old woman who was a resident of the building. Her friend, an 18-year-old Lakewood woman, allegedly assaulted her after witnessing her hug a man they had both been spending time with that night.

The 18-year-old Lakewood woman was arrested and charged with assault.

The 19-year-old Cleveland man that was with them was arrested for an outstanding warrant with the city of Cleveland for domestic violence.

Officers also found two firearms in his possession. He was charged with two felony charges of improperly handing firearms in a motor vehicle and having weapons under disability.
