PESHTIGO, Wis. (WFRV) - Authorities have provided an update, which includes the identities of those involved in a deadly officer-involved shooting in Peshtigo back in August.

An updated release provided by the Wisconsin Department of Justice has identified the victim and the two Marinette Police Department officers who shot him.

The incident began on the morning of August 29 in Peshtigo when officers were trying to find a vehicle allegedly related to a suspicious death investigation in Dane County. The suspect vehicle was found around 9:10 a.m., where it fled an attempted traffic stop.

Following a high-speed pursuit that ended in a crash, multiple law enforcement officers responded to the scene.
