Aston Villa’s Premier League squad has been confirmed - with Unai Emery naming 22 players, three less than the maximum 25 allowed.

There are no surprises in Villa’s group, which sees Emi Martinez and new signing Marco Bizot named as the goalkeepers and sees the club’s three deadline day signings included.

Players born on or after January 1, 2004 do not need to be named in a Premier League 25-man squad and no more than 17 players who do not fill the homegrown player criteria can be included.

That's why the likes of Lamare Bogarde and Jamal Jimoh-Aloba have been named in the U21 squad.

Harvey Elliott, Jadon Sancho and Victor Lindelof all take their places in a squad that features familiar faces like Ollie Watkins, John McGinn and Tyrone Mings.
