MADISON, Wis. (WMTV) - Madison Police Department officers arrested a 42-year-old driver after two 19-year-olds were hit by a car on Wednesday night.

The two victims were standing along Gene Parks Place when they were hit by the suspect’s car, according to an MPD incident report.

When MPD officers responded just after 8 p.m. to the intersection of Mike Mckinney Court and Gene Parks Place, they found two individuals with leg injuries. Officials said one of the victims had to be taken to a hospital.

Police arrested the driver for potential charges of operating a motor vehicle causing injury, operating a vehicle with a prohibited alcohol concentration causing injury, unsafe backing and driving without a valid driver’s license.
