This time, it was the cops calling the public.
“Help, guys, help,” yelled the Peel Police officer.
Realizing he was in potential trouble in this arrest, the officer hollered to at least two civilian men who were watching and recording the takedown attempt the officer was engaged in at 9:38 p.m. on Sept. 1 at Mavis Rd. and Dundas St. in Mississauga.
There was no time to call 911. He needed help right there and then. The copper was in need of backup – and fast.
