Glasgow's budget planning for the year ahead will faces challenges as the UK Government's budget is being announced later than expected according to the city's treasurer.
The Scottish government says it is unlikely to present a budget before Christmas after the UK budget date was confirmed for November 26.
The delay will impact planning for budget, which relies on government funding and treasurer Ricky Bell said the delay will have "serious implications."
The budget year for the council starts on April 1.
