The Jackson Police Department released an update in the case of 32-year-old Robert Maximilian White, who was arrested Thursday in connection with a string of violent crimes, including a deadly shooting, an armed carjacking, and multiple business robberies.

On Friday, September 12, White made his initial appearance before a Municipal Court Judge. He was denied bond on charges of Capital Murder and Armed Carjacking. The judge also set a $150,000 bond for the two counts of Armed Robbery of a Business, connected to incidents at Debo’s Corner on Northside Drive.

White was taken into custody on September 11 following an investigation by JPD Homicide detectives. Authorities say the case remains active and ongoing, with investigators continuing to gather evidence.
