SOUTH DAKOTA (KCAU) — A Rock Valley man died on Thursday after a crash in South Dakota.

According to a release from the South Dakota Department of Public Safety, the crash happened approximately one mile southwest of Fairview.

Officials said that the man was driving a Peterbilt semi that was hauling silage in the area of 288th Street and 486th Avenue.

The vehicle left the roadway, tipping over and rolling down an embankment. The driver was killed in the crash.
